At the close of each school year students in grades 3-8 have the opportunity to participate in a special track and field competition that includes local Christian schools. During this day long event, which is held at a local high school, students have an array of events they can participate in such as the 100 meter dash, shot put, running long jump, softball throw, and the 4 x 100 relay. Every student who participates receives a participation ribbon.

There are also placement ribbons for each event distributed by grade and gender for those students who finish 1st through 5th place in each event. Medals are awarded to the boy or girl, in each grade, who garners the most points overall during the day’s competition. The Junior Olympics is a wonderful social event for our school families.
