Northwest Christian School
Welcome to Northwest Christian School — a loving, Christ-centered community where children from Preschool through 8th grade are nurtured in the Christian faith, engaged in learning, and inspired to transform the world for Jesus in their lifetime. Since 1966, our mission has been to glorify God by Nurturing the Spirit, Engaging the Mind, and Transforming the World for Jesus. NCS has been home to generations of students and families, creating a lasting heritage of faith, learning, and service to Christ.
Nurturing the Spirit
At NCS, we empower students to grow spiritually within a strong biblical worldview rooted in our Evangelical Christian faith, where Scripture shapes how we teach, lead, and live. From our youngest learners to our 8th graders, we cultivate daily habits of prayer, worship, Bible study, and the growth of the Fruit of the Spirit — love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). We partner with families and local churches to foster this spiritual development in a Christ-centered environment rooted in Biblical truth. As Proverbs 22:6 encourages, “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Engaging the Mind
Our highly qualified and loving teachers are deeply committed to each student’s journey of faith and learning. From Preschool through 8th grade, they offer thoughtfully planned, grade-level appropriate instruction that integrates Biblical truth with strong academic standards. Through purposeful, hands-on learning, students are encouraged to think critically, explore their creativity, and grow in their God-given talents — all for His glory. “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters” (Colossians 3:23).
Transforming the World for Jesus
Our mission extends beyond academics. We inspire and develop students into bold and loving leaders who live out their faith daily — in their families, churches, and communities. We encourage every child to be a doer of the Word (James 1:22), reflecting Christ’s love and light through their actions and character.
