For those students in grades 4-8 interested in pursing the instrumental arts and participating as a member of the Northwest Christian School band, NCS offers small group lessons that encourage a life-long love for and understanding of instrumental music. Students are invited to explore an array of percussion, woodwind and brass instruments, and are grouped according to their skill and advancement levels. Annual school concerts are the culmination of many months of instruction and practice with fellow band members and ensemble groups. It is our mission to help develop each individual to his/her fullest potential, while fostering a sense of community, pride, and team spirit as a member of the NCS Band.
- The Blue Band ensemble is made up of our first year students, while the Gold and Jazz bands, and instrumental ensembles are comprised of those students with more advanced instrumental skill.
- NCS assists with instrumental rentals and offers small group lessons throughout the school year.
