Northwest Christian School takes part in a variety of academic competitions. Each year students in grades 3-8 have the opportunity to compete in the Northern New Jersey Christian School Association Bible Bee, Spelling Bee, and Math Bee.
Our elementary and middle school students also have the opportunity to use their verbal communication skills by competing in the ACSI Speech Meets.
Our junior high students participate in ACSI’s Creative Writing Festival, and a nationwide math exam that tests proficiency in applied math skills.
Each winter students in grades 4-8 compete in an in-house geography competition sponsored by the National Geographic Geography Bee. The school champion takes a written test, which is then forwarded to a statewide competition to establish a state champion who then competes for first place at the national level.
